Here are some fabulous old bloodlines courtesy of the breeding program of
Grazing Fields Farm. "Seren" is a wonderful old cob type, producer of two great
foals: 2007 colt B. Aneirin has attained the honor of placing third nationally in 2008
with the WPCSA for Section D colts, 2005 mare Misty is coming along nicely in her
training and showing as a four year old. Misty is for sale, please see the sales

We are considering putting

(Penhryn Sword of Hope x Pren Awyr Y Penrhyn) 2002 13. 1 1/4 hh chestnut sabino mare
"Matches" is the epitome of what we strive for when attempting to breed the perfect pony. She is
kind and gentle to work with, and has a perfect work ethic. She has an unbelievable stride, and
LOVES to show off in hand. Her attitude on the trails is calm and steady, she is a confidence builder
for beginners while keeping the ability to offer a fun ride to an advanced rider. Offered for sale is
her April, 2009 Danaway Ali filly. Please see the sales and youngstock page for further details.

13.2 hh 1988 chestnut mare
~half sister to Brynayre Royal Match on the dam side:
Many thanks to Lisa Brezina of Castleberry Welsh Cobs for remembering how much we love this mare's
dam (our own "Patches"), and to Jerry and Barbara Garner for the special opportunity to purchase the
Champion driving pony "Queenie". She produced a wonderfully typey filly by Penrhyn Sword of Hope in
June who is now offered for sale as a weanling. Please see the sales and youngstock page for more
details about this wonderful prospect.
~Queenie will have a year off from broodmare duty to have a bit of fun as Laurie's driving pony for
Colonial Carriage Association activities and competitions. We are told that she was a fiery lead mare in
the Garner's six pony hitch, but she has proven a steady, safe and competent single pony too. At the
Traditional Day of Driving in New Marlborough, MA, she came in third!

Solstice Blaque Knight x Trefaes Belladonna, 2005 black section D mare, 15.0hh
"Lady" is our newest mare, she was bred by Mike Smith and Linda Gillen-Smith of Solstice Welsh Cobs in Newberry, Florida. Originally
sold as a 2yo, we had the wonderful opportunity to purchase Lady this past February. She boarded with Jadehanna Ranch until
coming up north in Late June, just in time to compete inhand at the 2009 Ponies on the Hudson and the NEWPA annual shows. We
cant wait to get this wonderful mare out and about on the performance trail, in the meantime, she will be in light work as we await the
coming foal by *Danaway Ali in May of 2010. Lady is a sweet and willing young mare, expect to hear wonderful things about her in the
future!!!!
